how it works
You (the crafter) can rent a shelf or space in the shop to display your unique handmade items. Once you have completed your documentation for your space, your products are to arrive at the store labelled, priced and reflecting a computer code (this will be supplied).
You set up, restock and rearrange your display during the week as weekends are too busy. If you reside out of town, you can arrange with us to do it for you. Storage space is available. Our computer system automatically credits your account with sales, less the percentage retained by Just Gifted. Your bank account will be credited at the end of each month.
pricing
You may have your name / logo on your products: no contact details permitted. Your price and computer code (we will supply you with one)
special CODE
Your unique code is made up of three letters followed by three digits: e.g. ALB001. Each craft item must be clearly marked with your code and the selling price. Please use block letters and ensure that both the code and the price are clear. Each different craft item should have its own code. Your personal contact details are NOT allowed on the packaging. Any enquiries or special orders will be handled by the sales staff directly with each crafter.
ADVERTISING AND MARKETING
Just gifted advertises on behalf of all its crafters on the Just gifted Facebook page promoting in-store competitions and news. Extra space can be booked by crafters for product demonstrations during peak selling periods.
STOCK LIST
A detailed stock list should be emailed no later than 2 weeks prior to stock intake, for entry into the computer system.
STOCK CONTROL
Our staff will let you know when more items are needed. You will receive a computer-generated printout that we can E-mail to you. This list will help you with your stock control. You will have to monitor your stock.
Please ensure that you send or deliver stock on a regular basis.
PAYMENTS
The first month’s rental is due 2 weeks prior to your first trading day with the second and subsequent month’s rentals being deducted from the sales.
